Investing.com – French stocks were lower after Tuesday’s close, and stocks in the sector were lower.
At the close in Paris, it fell 0.14%, while the index lost 0.21%.

As for the worst performer at the end of the day’s trading, Eurofins Scientific SE (EPA:) closed down by 3.19%, or 2.16 points, and traded at 65.54 levels. Dassault Systemes SE (EPA:) shares fell 2.31%, or 0.83 points, to 35.08 points. Worldline AG (EPA) fell 2.16%, or 0.94 points, to 42.63.
The best performer of SBF 120 is ALD SA (EPA:) which rose 4.21% to 10.90, SCOR SE (EPA:) which rose 2.95% to 19.69 and Dirichburg (EPA rose 2.22%, closing at 5.30.
The worst performer was Quodient SA (EPA:), which fell 17.91% to 12.01 late in the session, while Aéroports de Paris SA (EPA:) lost 12.60% to settle at 129.05. European SA (EPA:) which fell 5.56% to 6.96.
Declining shares rose from 323 to 223 on the Paris Stock Exchange, to close unchanged at 93.
Shares of Quodient SA (EPA:) fell to a 52-week low; It lost 17.91%, or 2.62, to 12.01.
The CAC 40 option, which measures implied volatility, fell 0.00% to 18.96, a new 52-week high.
Gold futures for February delivery rose 0.14%, or 2.55%, to $1,783.85 an ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude oil for January delivery fell 3.60%, or $2.77 a barrel, while the Brent oil contract for February fell 3.77%, or $3.12, to trade at $79.56 a barrel.
EUR/USD remained unchanged at 0.09% at 1.05 and EUR/GBP at 0.04% at 0.86.
US Dollar Index futures rose 0.13% to 105.38.
