JoJo Siwa and Avery Cyrus broke up two months after the romance was confirmed

The “DREAM” singer and content creator broke up. On December 17, Avery shared a TikTok video featuring footage of themselves on a cruise in the Caribbean. In one clip, JoJo holds up an arcade game trophy, telling her, “Here’s a ‘sorry to break up with you’ gift.”

One fan commented on the video, “Now I just want to know why.” Avery replied, “We’ve decided we’re better off as friends! We’re both so young and still trying to figure our things out!”

Avery still calls their trip “the best trip ever”. JoJo wrote on her Instagram Story that it was “the best trip of my entire life.”

In recent days, Avery also appeared to be reacting to the breakup with some cryptic TikTok videos, including one on Dec. 16 saying she’s in the “age of healing” and another announcing, “Karma is my boyfriend.”

The split comes just two months after JoJo and Avery had an official romance, as the pair celebrated their one-month anniversary with a surprise beach outing.

“We celebrated our first month in the most special way,” JoJo captioned an Instagram video on Nov. 3, “Happy one month to the happiest girl ever making me happier :).”
