Not only did OG do a great job defensively as Donovan Mitchell earned 12 points on 25% shooting, but he lit it up from behind the arc. He was shooting without a second thought and gave us his best shooting performance in weeks, a great OG.
Pascal was a regular performer today. He started to score slowly and was doing a really good job of distributing the ball in transition and pnr, but as the game progressed he started to look for his own shot more and made sure to keep the ball. He took the lead late in the game.
A strong play from Juancho did his part to provide resistance on the road, there wasn’t much attacking tonight but he was in the center.
Great rebounding game from Scotty who seemed to move better tonight, did a good job as a wolf receiver, did a great job attacking late, also did a good job at transition and tackle, one of Scotty’s strongest performances this season.
Fred hit the ball well again and seemed to get out of his slump just in time. We’ve seen less pressure on the rim than before, but that’s because he’s done really well, and it’s a great match from Fred.
Thad didn’t do much tonight, he was just a neutral person tonight, nothing really stood out.
There wasn’t much to expect from Gary when he came back from injury, he moved the ball around really well and kicked the ball with a solid level too.
Another strong display from Malachi tonight as he spaced the ground very well and also put in a great display in defence, especially on the ball, never giving up on pushing.
A great plan against Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland to keep them out helped Toronto a lot.
