Apple is raising the price of out-of-warranty Iphone Battery Replacements for all iPhone models prior to iPhone 14 Later this year, the company announced on its website (via reddit).
As of March 1, 2023, Apple announced the out-of-warranty battery replacement price for all iPhone 13 models and the iPhone 12 series, as well as older iPhone models will increase by $20. Currently, Apple charges $69 for battery replacement on most iPhone models, according to an estimate calculator on the company’s website.
The price increase will only affect customers who do not have Apple Care or AppleCare+ for their devices. With AppleCare+, customers pay $0 for battery replacement once battery health exceeds 80%
