While Lego is unlikely to accept a production set (We’ve been through all of this before, after all), the idea itself is just brilliant and is based on the Temple of Time from The Legend of Zelda: the breath of nature. Built by a Lego Ideas member LEGO Overwatch, the collection launched on July 19, 2022 and gained over 100 supporters on the same day. By September 27, he had won the 10,000 supporters needed to move the idea to the consideration stage.
It seems that the set was also quite difficult to design, as LEGO Overwatch offers the following comments on its creation:
The link was very difficult to make. As for his tunic, it passed over his chest and halfway down his legs. Instead of hair, I gave him the hylian cowl that is usually worn in-game.
“The design was the first time in a build I’ve done where I was concerned with texture. I twisted it left and right, rolled 1×1 tiles, and tilted boards in different directions to achieve the desired effect. This is my first design that I have done and I plan to do many more like it in the future.
