At least 10 people have been injured in a shooting outside a restaurant in Miami Gardens, Fla., where rapper French Montana was filming a music video, according to statements from Miami Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR).

“Our hearts are heavy and go out to the victims of this senseless act,” The Licking Restaurant Group, a multi-location restaurant group owned by DJ Khaled, said in a statement to CNN.

“We were not aware of the video that was shot and discovered at the last minute (ute) that French Montana was filming a scene in the back parking lot. We have no idea what really happened,” the statement continued.

CNN has contacted Miami Parks Police for details on the shooting investigation.

According to MDFR, emergency units were dispatched shortly before 8 p.m. ET after receiving reports of an incident with multiple victims.

Upon arrival, the fire brigade found a number of people with traumatic injuries. In addition to finding infected patients at the initial site, firefighters also encountered other injured patients outside a nearby fire station,” emergency officials said.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Security, “Firefighters immediately began triage to assess the extent of the patients’ injuries and transfer them to the hospital.” As a result of the accident, a total of 10 patients were injured. Four of the patients were transported themselves to district hospitals. MDFR transferred the remaining six patients by road and air rescue to local trauma centers.

CNN has reached out to representatives for French Montana for comment.
