Peyton HillisThe former Cleveland Browns star who appeared on the cover of the video game Madden 12 has been hospitalized after a swimming accident where he saved his children from drowning.
Peyton remains in the intensive care unit to treat her lungs and kidneys, but doctors say her health is improving, according to the uncle.
Meanwhile, the Peyton babies will be safe and sound.
Hillis was in Pensacola, Florida, when the accident occurred, according to the reporter Alyssa Orangewho said he was airlifted to hospital and remains unconscious in the intensive care unit.
Peyton was featured on the cover of Madden after his breakout season in 2010 and another strong year in 2011 with the Browns. Hillis rushed for 1,177 yards going for 477 yards as a running back in 2010 and scoring 13 total touchdowns. He followed that up with 717 total yards and 3 touchdowns in 2011, then made the cover of the Madden 12, being voted number one by the fans.
A seventh-round draft pick by Arkansas in 2008, Peyton played in 81 NFL games in 8 seasons with the Browns, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, and New York Giants.
Peyton has not played in the NFL since the 2014 season. Since then he has taken up acting and made his film debut last year in the independent thriller ‘The Catch’.
