New Blockchain Digital Collections for the 2023 Tour de France

On January 9, the Tour de France Le Tour de France launches its first set of digital groups representing the 21 stages of 2023.

The digital groups will represent the 21 stages of the 2023 Tour route with 3D animations for each stage. All digital collections are freely available to the public collection.letour.fr.

These digital pools will be hosted by Polygon, a blockchain technology platform. To earn digital collectibles, fans must participate in online tasks (quizzes, challenges, social media activities, etc.) to earn points within 21 days.

At the end of these 21 days, the highest ranked entrants will receive a “Digital Mystery Box” containing one of the official digital collections of the 2023 Tour de France.

Of these, 21 randomly selected Mystery Chests (one for each stage) will give their owners access to the VIP experience for the respective 2023 level.

Registration for the new digital initiative is now open. From January 9 to 30, the platform will be launched and a 21-day research period will begin.

To get this new community of fans moving and allow its members to share their discoveries, a dedicated Discord channel will be created and accessible to all participants.

Revenue generated from the Tour de France through the secondary market, where participants can sell and trade their digital collections, will be donated to the Tour de France’s “Riding to the Future” initiatives. Accessible to everyone.
