Last December, Square Enix announced the launch of a Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster switch. Recently, pre-orders were billed and now the Japanese games company has confirmed that the collection will be released for Nintendo’s hybrid system later this month. April 19.

This collection includes the first six Final Fantasy games with updated 2D graphics, a revamped soundtrack overseen by original composer Nobuo Uematsu, and enhanced gameplay features such as a modernized user interface, auto-battle options, and more. .

This collection began life on PC and mobile in 2022. These games will be available on console digitally as separate individual purchases or can be purchased as a collection. There will also be physical releases, as previously revealed. Pre-orders are available now.

Some of the other features that can be expected from the Switch and PS4 version include the ability to change audio tracks between the original version and the remastered version, change the default game fonts to a pixel-based font, turn off random encounters and experiment with the setting. – speed up the process and improve the experience.
