Nate Diaz had a long night at Misfits Boxing 6.
After starting an argument with reality TV star Chase D’Amore by throwing a water bottle at him during the event, Diaz ended someone else’s night fast and cold on the street after the event in New Orleans.
In the video below, the man approaches Diaz who closes his choke and punches him in the knee, knocking him to the ground after putting him to sleep.
Diaz was in town because teammate Chris Avila was at the event. Avila easily won a unanimous decision over Paul Bamba.
This is what Conor McGregor said about the incident.
UFC President Dana White also watched the video.
Diaz is scheduled to make his professional boxing debut against Jack Paul on August 6 in Dallas. This will be his first big fight since leaving the Ultimate Fighting Championship as a free agent. He beat Tony Ferguson in his final trip to the octagon at UFC 279 via a guillotine choke last September.
