All residents, family and friends are invited to visit two public pianos in Pointe-Claire this summer: one located on the terrace of the Stewart Hall Cultural Center (176 Du Bord-du-Lac – Lakeshore), available from June 4 to October 1 , and the second located at Sarah’s Enchanted Forest Reading Garden behind the Central Library (100 Douglas Shand Street), available June 18 to September 30.
Anyone who wants to play a tune or enjoy the sound of music can access these two public pianos from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, all summer long!
opening ceremony:
Concert Sunday June 4, 2023 at 3 p.m. – Guillaume Martineau in jazz trio
During his performance, Martino would have the opportunity to show the many facets of his ability to play music. He will be accompanied by singer Jana Kitt and bassist Eric Lagasse as a jazz trio. They will play their own interpretations of songs by Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Neil Young and the Beatles, as well as some French and Quebec classics.
The concert will take place at the Stewart Hall Cultural Center on Sunday, June 4 at 3 p.m. Admission is free and no reservations are required for this event.
Concert Sunday June 18, 2023 at 3 p.m. – Marie-Ange Crochet: full of comfort
Marie Ange is a passionate and multi-talented artist who facilitates tenderness. She creates music in order to create calm around her. on his first album Full of comfortShe showcases her warm folk sound through her original lyrics, catchy melodies and soft, soothing vocals.
