After his historic Grand Slam victory at Roland Garros 2023 (French Open), Novak Djokovic was greeted and congratulated by many members of the tennis community.
The Serbian won his 23rd Grand Slam title on Sunday, the most by any player in the Open Era. After his victory, members of the tennis community took to social media to congratulate the 36-year-old.
Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard wrote: “I am a huge fan of Roger, but we all have to admit that Novak is the undisputed goat. He is incredibly impressive.”
Bouchard native Denis Shapovalov wrote: “Legend!!! Congratulations @djokernole for all you have achieved and inspire us to work harder every day.”
Other tennis figures have also paid tribute to the Serb, with many ranking him among the all-time greats.
