French Montana rapper of Moroccan origin, Karim Kharbouch, says goodbye to his home in Los Angeles.
The “Unforgettable” artist first purchased the home in late 2020 from Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George for $8.4 million, and is now moving away. A house worth 22.75 million Australian dollars. After purchasing the home, he embarked on a comprehensive renovation with the interior and architecture of Iqosa to match his vision for the property.
The home is located in a gated enclave called Ashley Ridge, which is part of the celebrity-filled Hidden Hills community. Set on 1.5 acres, you are greeted by a private circular driveway with lush, well maintained landscaping and mature towering trees with lush canopies. The residence spans 16,000 square feet and has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, perfect for those who love to entertain or those with a large family.
The custom-built property features wood ceilings, oak beams, limestone floors, large skylights, custom lighting, carved wood doors, and marble fireplaces. No detail or expense has been spared when it comes to the material. There are also floor-to-ceiling windows and custom sliding glass doors that look out over the pastoral grounds, welcoming plenty of natural light. There is a spacious chef’s kitchen which is light and airy thanks to vaulted beam ceilings and open skylights. The home has simple natural beauty with indoor greenery at every turn.
The heart of the home is the 4,000 square foot great room with vaulted wood ceilings, motorized skylights, sliding glass doors opening to the backyard, wet bar, and two large living areas with fireplaces. The master suite is also gorgeous and occupies one wing of the house. There are vaulted wood ceilings, a double sided fireplace, a living room with kitchenette and huge walk-in closet, and a spa-style bathroom with a built-in sofa near the glass shower and bathtub.
Amenities include a movie theater, gym, steam shower, locker room, bonus room, library, wine cellar, outdoor kitchen, custom grill, fire pit, fountains, five-car garage, RV storage, and a full-size basketball court. The outdoor spaces are resort-like with a pool, spa, stone patio, beautiful landscaping, and an outdoor entertainment area with music center and TV. There are also fruit and shade trees dotted throughout the property.
According to listing agent Tomer Friedman of the Friedman Group at Compass, Montana decided to sell so it could focus on expanding its portfolio globally, possibly to Miami, New York and Paris.
