The latest patch for Diablo 4 just dropped, and it rounds up a pretty comprehensive list of bug fixes and improvements that should keep your gaming experience running smoothly. The biggest changes, at least for those who manage to Beat the game’s overall campaign, aim for XP gains. Specifically, these changes affect earnings during the infamous endgame, which should keep the hardcore happy (for a while, at least).
The full list of patch notes can be found here, along with all previous patch notes, in a move we hope more developers will embrace. However, we’re most interested in the following three entries, which target specific end-game activities and experience points awarded upon completion:
- Significantly increased experience granted for completing Nightmare Dungeons.
- Significantly increased experience gained from killing monsters in Nightmare Dungeons.
- Helltide chests now provide a much more bonus experience when opened.
Hopefully this decision will make the difficult pressure of levels 50-100 more bearable. XP tuning seems to be a hot issue at Blizzard lately, with notorious dungeons indulging in an attempt to eliminate unintended XP farming during the normal leveling process.
