Hometown hockey champ Michael Amadeo — who will bring the Stanley Cup to town on July 19 — sat down for an exclusive interview on his “Inside the Village” podcast.
Expect a long line outside GFL Memorial Gardens next Wednesday.
Local hockey star Michael Amadio, a member of the Las Vegas Golden Knights, the national hockey champion will win the Stanley Cup on July 19.
As the city announced yesterday, Amadeo will be at the Gardens signing autographs and taking photos between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Admission is free, but fans are encouraged to arrive early.
Amadeo was recently a guest on Village Media’s inside the village Podcast. The 27-year-old recalled the moment he first lifted the trophy, a very special phone call he made from the ice – and what it was like growing up as a young Sault hockey player.
“It’s a great hockey community,” he said.
